Barra Sul Station
A trip through nature begins
Barra Sul is the starting point of a trip that combines nature and fun to an unmistakable view in 360 degrees. The station's architecture was inspired in ships: there are three floors - the ground floor is for the parking lot, with 3.400 m2 area, administrative offices and a tourist help desk. The first floor covers an area of 1.500 m2 and houses a food court, shops and ticket office as well as a post box, ATM and public phones.
The space is interactive and multiuse, and hosts artistic exhibitions, and crafts and pop art shows. The panoramic view of the southern tip of Balneário Camboriú allows one to see the meeting of the sea waters with those of the Camboriú River. The cable cars depart from the second floor.
